We are Opening for Channel Marketing Manager Job descriptionThe Company is in diversified technology and manufacturing leader of aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; automotive products; power generation systems; specialty chemicals; fibers; plastics and advanced materials.
The position is Channel Marketing Manager for BMS business, located in Bangalore , India and will report to LOB Marketing Leader - India.
This position will be responsible for Channel marketing identifying the right customer segments vis--vis product portfolio, pricing and other marketing specialist's functions for Field devices Business in India.
The goal of the position is to drive profitable above-market growth by assisting the India sales teams sell across a complete portfolio of Field devices. this function will be part of the India marketing team with functional skills across Marketing disciplines of strategic marketing, product marketing, Channel marketing, pricing specialists and marketing communications.
The function is responsible for:
Channel Marketing Management
Enabling the HBT BMS India regional team to plan and execute the Annual Operating Plan across Revenue, Profitcapability and Inventory by providing the right business decisions through intelligent risk taking, integrative thinking and working together in a team environment to ensure collectively the team gets results.
As channel marketing manager you will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing channel marketing activity for selected groups of channel partners.
Developing and superviseing the marketing plan for specific channels within the organization
Implementing channel campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
Address sales related issues and conflicts in timely manner.
Maintain templates for sales proposals, whitepapers and reports
Channel relationship management & Dealer Network management
Should have good domain knowledge / subject matter expert in HVAC - specifically Field Devices.
Should be able to work closely with regional sales team and provide support on products, applications and articulate right value proposition located on customer segments.
Engage with and influence the key decision makers in the End User and Distributor organizations. Should manage distribution channel engagement plan for the region and ensure complete portfolio being promoted by key distributors within the region.
Ensure high regional sales competency level. Provide regular training to sales team on product, competition, value proposition and drive implementation of sales playbook in co-ordination with product marketing team.
Help sales organization with joint channel review and ensure high conversion by providing strategic and tactical support on key initiatives.
Work closely with offering management team to ensure timely launch of new product and quick adoption of NPI by sales team and all customers. Will be responsible for NPI revenue planned for the region.
Conduct customer segment analysis to identify customer needs and to position an appropriate competitive profitable offering.
Work closely with BMS sales team and provide right support to channel to improve company's share.
Ensure expansion of Channel Base in each of the Product Lines and ensure Sales Revenue, healthy product mix and Gross Margins for each Product Line.
Conduct product promotion events like expos, seminars, training to drive Brand consciousness.
Developing tactical marketing that includes all aspects of product strategy & operational management, channel requirements analysis and competitive/ profit maximizing pricing tactics.
Contribute to SIOP process through portfolio management and demand forecasting. Participate in regional demand review.
Support & execute transactional pricing initiatives in the region
Carry out independent geographic assessment to identify key channel gaps and work closely with sales to appoint new channel partners to ensure market coverage across city tiers 1 to 4
Required Candidate profile
Min 5-8 years HVAC/ related practice is must.
Should possess Channel Management practice in a similar Business to Business Product company with significant Building Controls industry practice. Prior practice of engaging with Channels and SI's will be preferred.
Very strong general channel marketing skills (conducting VOCs/ OVOCs, market segmentation, competitive positioning, identifying customer needs and critical success factors, developing value proposition and flawless execution of product launches).
Demonstrated capability to influence and direct resources across multiple functions ranging from engineering, marketing, quality, sourcing at the same time bringing an integrative thinking with demonstrated business acumen.
Identifying and knowledge market and technology trends, and linking them to business strategy; strong aptitude for technology
knowledge of microeconomics and financial concepts and the link them to business strategy
Strong financial and excel modeling skills, and excellent power point slide preparation
practice in conducting secondary and primary research; competitive analysis
Bachelor's degree in Engineering , MBA from a recognized Business School preferred.
Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
