Job Description Purpose of the job Building competences that enable retention of specific expertise and control the quality and compliance of the solutions developed by our partners. Key areas of responsibility As a Platform Specialist » Accountable that the solutions design/ technology meets the functional requirements specified by the Business Analyst. » Accountable that solution design meets platform architecture Principles. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design. » Ensures that solution across platforms is in line with the design and development guidelines. » Accountable that deliverables meet quality requirements as specified by the significant quality system. » Approves the content of the release prior to release and manages interrelation aspects with other applications. » Provide guidance to development team in performing build automation and configuration management » Supports the Delivery Manager in validating estimations of our partners, and timely provision of technical environments. » Supports Business Analyst, Scrum Master and Delivery Manager on managing, tracking, and forecasting of solution development. » Coaches technical leads and developers. » Provides escalation support to the partners for complex issues. » Contributes to overall scrum team goals and objectives. » Leading in detailing out high level solution guidelines in to solution designs » Works closely with independent test partner to validate test planning and test execution. Responsible for Software Quality, working closely with Test Factory on Code & Configuration Analysis Requirements Proven expertise of business process and its KPI's. expertise of industry best practices to support significant business processes. Required competences and levels: IT Competences: Business Process / Change Management, Account Management, Application and solution design » practice within Healthcare or expertise on SOX, Compliance and / or FDA preferred Education / practice Required: » 12 - 15 years of Total Information technology practice. » 5+ Years of full Project life-cycle Implementation practice across various components in Informatica platform » practice RDBMS, ETL Concepts, Strategy, Design & Architecting, Informatica Administration, Development, Performance Tuning, Testing & Implementation » capability to understand functional requirements and convert them to technical solutions. » practice in handling data from different heterogeneous source systems and loading into multiple target systems, like Oracle, File systems, Teradata, cloud applications, SAP etc. » practice in handling web-services » Good practice in scripting » Data architecture and Data warehouse design practice » Mentoring / Coaching team members » practice in Data warehouse and related tools » capability to provide hands-on support to the development team and trouble-shoot issues occurring during development.
