Product Marketing Manager - Video
 
 
The position is  Product Marketing Manager - Video  for our Fire Safety (HSF) business, located In Bangalore, India and will report to LOB Marketing Leader .
 
This position will be responsible for Product Marketing identifying the right customer segments vis--vis product portfolio, New Product Introductions and other product management functions in India.
 
The function is responsible for:
 
Product Marketing Management - Video
» As Product marketing manager, you will be responsible for developing and superviseing the marketing plan for specific channels within the organization
» Conduct customer segment analysis to identify customer needs and to position an appropriate competitive profitable offering.
» Introduction of new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and ISC.
» Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume.
» Prepare business case for new business ideas
» Work closely with APAC/Global product marketing team to ensure timely launch of new product and quick adoption of NPI by sales team and all customers.
» Introduce I4I products and manage PLC
» Responsible for Say Do for NPI revenue planned for the region.
» Revenue, healthy product mix and Gross Margins for each Product Line.
» Developing tactical marketing that includes all aspects of product strategy & operational management, channel requirements analysis and competitive/ profit maximizing pricing tactics.
» Contribute to SIOP process through portfolio management
» Support & execute NPI pricing initiatives in the region
» Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Sourcing and technical team from Idea to final product
» Should have good domain knowledge of Video systems. Should be able to work closely with regional sales team and provide support on products, applications and articulate right value proposition located on customer segments.

Previous Work practice
» Must possess enough knowledge to be able to demo the product to a prospect, if the need arises. The PMM will then be the resident product expert in the marketing team - the go-to person for all feature and roadmap related questions that the team might have.
» Should possess Product Management practice in a similar Business to Business Product company with significant industry practice.
» Very strong general product marketing expertise (conducting VOCs/ OVOCs, market segmentation, competitive positioning, identifying customer needs and critical success factors, developing value proposition and flawless execution of product launches).
» Demonstrated capability to influence and direct resources across multiple functions ranging from engineering, marketing, quality, sourcing at the same time bringing an integrative thinking with demonstrated business acumen.
» Proficiency and knowledge of product development and practices enabling the same.
» practice of working on Agile framework shall be added advantage
» knowledge of microeconomics and financial concepts and the link them to business strategy
» Strong financial and excel modeling expertise, and excellent power point slide preparation
» practice in conducting secondary and primary research; competitive analysis
» Able to execute gap analysis and launch NPI's as required to complete portfolio

» Strong problem solving capability; rigorous and resourceful with a pragmatic approach - applying 80-20 rule and coming up with directionally sound logic to navigate through limited data situations
» capability to understand technical issues and understand impact on projects, and effectively communicate these issues and impact to other project stakeholders.
» capability to assume ownership and responsibility for a complete project and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
» Flexibility in terms of dealing with changing priorities and dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
» Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving expertise in order to deal with customers, business partners, staff and management from a variety of skill levels as well as different authority levels within the organization and customer's organizations.
» capability to assimilate complex ideas and detailed information into elegant, written, spoken and visual communications.
» Must be willing to travel broadly and be located on strategic objectives across the India sub-region.
 
Appropriate qualifications
» Bachelor's degree in Engineering with MBA from a recognized Business School preferred.
» Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
