Manager, Information technology Services Job description The function of a Postgres/SQL Developer is to analyze and define, together with the business users, the Information technology solution for clients data integration into our existing application landscape. The Postgres/SQL developer will » Develop and document complex Postgres/SQL processes and provide data integration solutions with other applications. » Follow best practices for Postgres/SQL development. » Receive accountcapability to manage your own sub - projects. Responsibilities » Build, maintain, and enhance all objects procedures/functions in Postgres/SQL to support application process. » Perform functions including SQL tuning, database application design, and developer support. » Demonstrate practice working with huge, interdependent, complex datasets. » capability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds » Write clear, concise, well organized technical documentation to maintain standards and procedures » Understand the requirement and analyse on a technical practiccapability and design. » Coding the requirement and proper Check in / Checkout in Version control. » Unit Test Cases Preparation and Execution » Code Review and Checklist document preparation. » QA, UAT and PROD Release Scripts/Package Preparation and Validation. » Be a key contributor to initiatives that require technical skills. » Communicate with technical team and come up with solutions. » Collaborate with the team to coordinate delivery of software application. Technologies » Required languages Postgres/SQL » Databases: Postgres » Platform: Heroku ( Will be added advantage).
