Job Description JOB SUMMARY » Providing BAU support for all system data models, processes, and the Azure hosting environment. » Developing all required SQL, SSIS and ETL requirements » Capturing and documenting requirements and then ensuring that those requirements are understood. » Delivering the implementation of approved solutions this could be by directly acting as technical lead/implementer, or by managing the delivery utilising team development resources. » Supporting the development team, providing skills when required. » The analyst must be capable of independently implementing and supporting technical solutions. KEY REQUIREMENTS » Provide BAU support of the Business Excellence Reporting (BER) The analysts must be able to provide: 100% of support of the data sets, SSIS packages, SQL implementations, calculation methodologies, and the Azure environment (i.e. everything in the platform except the web applications); and support of the web application environment to keep the platform running, and work with the supplier(s) on fault resolution and bug fixes. » Identify and propose new solutions and improvements to the BER Platform solutions, located on requirements from key stakeholders. » Prioritise delivery located on business requirements and effort/cost value. » Manage the end-to-end agile delivery of approved new solution requirements, from requirements to technical delivery. » Identify areas within the reporting cyclical process that are not working as expected or can be improved, proposing enhancements to key stakeholders and helping drive delivery through the implementation of agreed Changes. » Identify areas within the supporting BER technologies that are not working as expected or can be improved to better assist the reporting process, to key stakeholders and helping drive delivery through the implementation of agreed Changes. » Deliver the data models, hierarchies, and maintenance processes to ensure optimal data quality. » Provide end-to-end support of the Azure PaaS environment, wholly independently from other support team in IT. » Own the process for issue resolution, ensuring that the queue is monitored, and OLAs/SLAs are achieved.
